Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province announced on the 1st that it will hold an SNS quiz event to promote the "2nd Jeonbuk Forum."

This event will run until the 12th, and participants can join through the official websites and social media channels of Jeonbuk Province and Namwon City. To participate, check the quiz event post on Jeonbuk Province's official social media and submit your answer. Winners will be selected by lottery and awarded prizes.

The event has been organized to promote the "2nd Jeonbuk Forum," which will be held on the 24th at the Suite Hotel in Namwon.

The forum, under the theme of "Sustainable Growth of the Bioeconomy and Regional Specialized Development," will bring together more than 700 participants, including domestic and international experts, institutional representatives, and local residents, for keynote speeches, special lectures, and thematic sessions.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Sarat Davala from India on the topic of "Global Paradigm Shifts and the Bioeconomy." The special lectures will feature Wu Bihu from China and composer Yoon Ilsang. Discussion topics will include strategies for the internationalization of the K-Culture and Tourism Industry and approaches to regional specialization in the agricultural and bio-industries.

Namwon City, the forum's host, is emerging as a hub for the bioeconomy, equipped with the ECO Smart Farm Agricultural and Bio-Industry District designation, eco-friendly resources of Mount Jiri, and traditional cultural assets such as lacquerware crafts and pansori.

Kang Youngseok, Director of the Special Self-Governing Education Cooperation Bureau, stated, "This resident-participation quiz event will serve as an opportunity to increase interest in the Jeonbuk Forum," and added, "We hope many people will join us as we explore Jeonbuk's future vision together with domestic and international experts."
