Hyundai Motor Company announced on September 1 that it will hold the "Casper Goods Design Contest" to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the Casper's launch, and will commercialize outstanding designs for sale starting at the end of the year.
Participants are invited to design goods using "DIBO," the character symbolizing the Casper Electric. DIBO is the character engraved on the second-row doors of the Casper Electric.
Hyundai Motor Company will select three outstanding entries-Grand Prize, Excellence Prize, and Merit Prize-and announce the winners on October 15. The prize money is 3 million won for the Grand Prize, 1.5 million won for the Excellence Prize, and 500,000 won for the Merit Prize. In addition, Hyundai Motor Company plans to commercialize the winning designs and utilize them in various advertisements and promotional activities starting at the end of the year. The goods will be sold not only on online sales platforms such as Casper Online, Hyundai Shop, and Naver Store, but also at offline venues like Casper Studio and Hyundai Motorstudio.
Participants must submit the required documents, including the goods design, to Hyundai Motor Company's email by September 30. Further details can be found on the Casper website.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor Company will continue to unveil various content to showcase the appeal of the Casper, including a popup exhibition titled "Casper Social Club: Casper Taste Recharge Station," where visitors can view and experience Caspers decorated in a variety of styles during the second week of September.
