The concert was organized as part of "Ecube School," a children's ecological education program operated by Everland's Experience Innovation Academy. It was designed to provide children with a unique learning experience that combines animal stories and classical music.

The concert received an enthusiastic response, with all seats sold out. Held for approximately 75 minutes at the Sejong Center Chamber Hall, the performance featured a variety of classical masterpieces themed around animals, forests, and safaris-such as Leroy Anderson's "The Waltzing Cat" and "The Swan" from Saint-Saens' "Carnival of the Animals"-performed by professional musicians on piano, violin, cello, and other instruments.

Notably, this event marked the first time a working zookeeper appeared on stage at the Sejong Center, adding special significance. The unique format, which combined music with animal ecology commentary, offered the audience a new cultural experience. Zookeeper Kim Dohyung, who provided the commentary, shared, "I was quite nervous to be the first zookeeper on the Sejong Center stage, but it was truly meaningful to create this moment together with the audience, communicating through the themes of animals and music."

During the performance, videos of animals related to the music being played were shown on a screen on stage, enhancing the immersive feeling as if embarking on a safari adventure accompanied by classical music.

Following this "Classic Safari," Ecube School plans to expand collaborations into various fields such as art museums and car circuits, continuing to offer experiential education that fosters children's sensitivity, creativity, and ecological awareness. This fall, programs are scheduled to include hands-on events where children can learn about animals in English, forest experiences for families, and Formula model car racing.

Meanwhile, reservations for "Meonghani Geotgae," a healing trekking program where participants can walk with their dogs in the great forest of Everland, will open on September 1.

"Meonghani Geotgae" is part of the Vitamin Camp, a mental health management and enhancement program operated by Everland's Experience Innovation Academy since 2014. In an era when the pet population has reached 15 million, this healing program is designed to offer pet owners a special experience with their beloved dogs.

This year's program, taking place from October 7 to 9, will be held at Forest Camp, Everland's renowned forest. Two trekking courses will be available, allowing participants to choose their preferred route.

A talk concert program called "Daengdaeng Salon" will also be held, where participants can learn proper walking techniques and health management for their dogs from pet experts. The "Meonghani Geotgae" program runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a participation fee of 63,000 won per person. A total of 300 teams, 100 per day, will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Everland website.

Each guardian may bring one dog, and a picnic lunch including sandwiches and yubu sushi will be provided to the guardian. Optional programs such as massage therapy, aromatherapy, and pet meditation-where guardians and their dogs can participate together-are also available and can be selected during reservation. Further details can be found on the Everland website.
