Checking the Results of Movie Ticket Discount Coupons

The ticket discount coupons received a strong response, with all coupons distributed within just three days. The actual usage rate also exceeded 50%, providing significant support for the recovery of the struggling theater industry. "Zombie Daughter" benefited the most from the discount coupon program. The film surpassed 5 million viewers within 26 days of its release, demonstrating the strength of Korean cinema.
About 150 teenagers currently enrolled in video industry education programs and college students majoring in film-related fields participated in the event. After the screening, Vice Minister Kim encouraged the audience during his stage greeting, saying, "You are the ones who will lead the future of Korean cinema." He also urged, "The issued discount coupons can be used until September 2, so I hope many people will visit movie theaters."
