"Community Security Council Leads Campaign to Find Welfare Blind Spots"

The Bulgeum-eup Community Security Council in Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province (co-chaired by Shim Juseok and Kim Sangjun) conducted a campaign on August 29 to identify welfare blind spots and provide intensive protection for vulnerable groups during the summer.

Approximately 20 members of the Bulgeum-eup Community Security Council participated in the campaign. They distributed promotional materials on identifying welfare blind spots to local residents and encouraged them to pay attention to neighbors in need and to actively report any cases they notice.

The Customized Welfare Team at the Bulgeum-eup Administrative Welfare Center plans to provide tailored services to households in crisis identified through this campaign, according to the specific situations they face.

Shim Juseok, head of Bulgeum-eup, stated, "I would like to thank the members of the Community Security Council for coming together to identify marginalized neighbors in our community despite the hot weather," and added, "We will do our utmost to fulfill our public role in identifying and supporting households in crisis who are in welfare blind spots."
