Sejong City Local Gift Certificate "Yeominjeon" to Increase Cashback Benefits Starting Next Month

Government Funding Raised from 2% to 8%
Cashback Rate Increased from 7% to 13%

The cashback benefit for the Yeominjeon local gift certificate in Sejong City will be significantly increased from the current 7% to 13% starting September 1. This is due to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety raising its government funding support from 2% to 8%.

With the cashback rate increased by 6 percentage points, the maximum amount an individual can receive will rise from 21,000 won to 39,000 won. However, the monthly purchase limit per person will remain the same at 300,000 won.

Yeominjeon can be recharged through the Yeominjeon smartphone app and used at over 13,000 affiliated stores in the region, excluding large supermarkets and entertainment bars.
