"Tactical Pause" for Aid Deliveries Halted in Gaza City
Israeli Military Declares Area a "Dangerous Combat Zone"
Full-Scale Offensive Preparations Underway
On August 29 (local time), the Israeli military declared Gaza City in northern Gaza a "dangerous combat zone," according to reports from AP and AFP.

In a statement released that day, the Israeli military announced, "Starting at 10 a.m. today, the Gaza City area will be considered a dangerous combat zone, and the temporary local suspension of military activity will not be applied."
This means that the "tactical pause" implemented since last month from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in three locations-Gaza City, Deir al-Balah, and Muwasi-to allow the entry of food and relief supplies will no longer be applied to Gaza City.
This measure comes as Israel is preparing to intensify its offensive with tens of thousands of troops in an effort to seize control of Gaza City.
The Israeli military did not specify whether it had notified local residents or aid organizations about the plan to resume daytime combat operations.
The United Nations warned the previous day that if the Israeli military proceeds with its planned incursion into Gaza City, the hospital bed capacity in the Gaza Strip could be reduced by half.
As it prepares to launch a full-scale military operation to take control of Gaza City, the Israeli military has recently been conducting clearance operations in Gaza City and its surrounding areas.
