Sharing Experiences Between Established and Emerging Companies
and Discussing Practical Cooperation Models
Leaders of nano and semiconductor companies in the Daejeon region gathered to share experiences between established and emerging businesses and to discuss practical models for cooperation.
Daejeon Technopark (Director Kim Wooyeon) announced that the Daejeon Nano and Semiconductor Leaders Special Forum, attended by CEOs from local nano and semiconductor companies, concluded successfully on August 29.
This forum, held as a special event over two weeks to commemorate its 30th session, was themed "A Business Cannot Grow Beyond the Owner's Dream." It covered practical management cases, including ownership-based management philosophy, organizational culture, and crisis response strategies.
In particular, company leaders vividly shared real-world management challenges and explored future visions and growth strategies together.
During the presentation sessions, Nashiyoung, CEO of Carbon Energy Co., Ltd., presented "A Realization Plan for True Carbon Neutrality" focused on DAC (Direct Air Capture) technology, emphasizing sustainable management strategies.
Following this, Kim Wanghwan, CEO of Korea Aero Co., Ltd., shared his company's crisis management experiences and core management know-how under the theme of "Differentiation Strategies and Entrepreneurship."
Last week, in particular, Lee Choongguk, CEO of Ratron Co., Ltd., shared management know-how based on his extensive experience; Park Jongwook, CEO of PSS Co., Ltd., presented crisis management strategies; and Kim Youngtae, CEO of Nano Electronics Co., Ltd., gave a presentation on corporate culture and management philosophy, with each leader sharing their company's core strategies.
Kim Wooyeon, Director of Daejeon Technopark, stated, "The Leaders Forum is more than just an information exchange-it is a platform where business leaders driving the regional industry can share their vision and philosophy and seek paths to growth together. Based on Daejeon's capabilities in nano and semiconductor technology, its strong business network, and the planned national industrial complex for nano semiconductors in Gyochon-dong, we will do our utmost to help Daejeon become a central city leading the future of Korea's advanced industries."
