Dong-Eui University of Science Holds "Summer Student Council Executive Training Retreat"

Dong-Eui University of Science (President Kim Youngdo) held the "2025 Summer Student Council Executive Training Retreat" over three days and two nights from August 19 to 21, 2025.

This retreat was organized to strengthen the capabilities of student council executives and to foster leadership that will guide a healthy student society. More than 30 participants, including the Director of Student Welfare, the President of the Student Council, the Chairperson of the Representative Council, as well as other faculty and student executives, attended the event.

The program included benchmarking Jeju Halla University, discussions on university and student council operations, leadership training, a student council opinion-gathering session, a local tour of Jeju, student event safety training, and unity-building activities. Through exchanges and discussions, participants explored directions for the development of the student community and reinforced their sense of community.

Kim Sungwon, Director of Student Welfare at Dong-Eui University of Science, said, "This retreat was a meaningful occasion to build bonds among student representatives and to cultivate a spirit of cooperation and volunteerism." He added, "We will expand connections and participation with international student executives to broaden exchanges with domestic students."
