in Smart Content at Jeollanam-do Farmer Informatization Competition

At the 2025 Jeollanam-do Farmers Informatization Competition held on the 27th at the Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services, Jinseong Kim, CEO of Dalseong Farm, won the grand prize in the smart content category. Provided by Shinan County

Shinan County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 29th that Jinseong Kim, CEO of Dalseong Farm, won the grand prize in the Smart Content category at the 2025 Jeollanam-do Farmer Informatization Competition held on the 27th at the Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services.

This competition serves as a platform to discover and share outstanding cases of informatization in the agri-food production and distribution process, including smart farming and digital marketing. This year, 14 farmers participated across three categories: Smart Innovation Cases, Smart Content, and Live Commerce.

CEO Kim submitted a video titled "Two Secrets to Doubling Profits at a Strawberry Farm," which received high marks for its effective delivery of key information about new technology (top-down melon cultivation method), stable video composition and use of subtitles, engaging storytelling, and creative ideas that combine agriculture with hands-on experiences. As a result, he was honored with the grand prize.

Kim stated, "This achievement is the result of developing my planning, filming, and editing skills through informatization training," adding, "I will continue to utilize digital platforms such as YouTube to promote agricultural products and expand experience programs."

The award-winning entry will be submitted as the Jeollanam-do representative at the national finals organized by the Rural Development Administration in October.

A county official commented, "This accomplishment is the fruit of local farmers' passion and consistent informatization education," and added, "We will continue to actively support the enhancement of farmers' digital skills."
