Highlighting the Appeal
of the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival

The 43rd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival will be held for ten days from September 19 to 28 at the Geumsan World Ginseng Expo Plaza and the surrounding Ginseng Herbal Medicine Street, and merchants at the Geumsan Ginseng Market have launched a large-scale promotional campaign.
The Geumsan Ginseng Herbal Medicine Market Association, led by Kim Guiseong, conducted festival promotion activities on August 28 at the Geumsan Ginseng Land rest area (both directions).
To showcase the excellence of Geumsan ginseng and highlight the appeal of the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival, they distributed herbal sachets and festival guide pamphlets, promoting both the Geumsan Ginseng Herbal Medicine Market and the festival itself.
Earlier, on August 23, the Geumsan Fresh Ginseng Center, headed by Lim Munjae, also carried out promotional activities at the Geumsan Ginseng Land rest area (both directions).
Targeting tourists visiting Geumsan during the holiday season and weekends, as well as highway travelers, they promoted the festival and offered opportunities to taste Geumsan fresh ginseng along with distributing festival information materials.
Kim Guiseong stated, "It is especially meaningful that the merchants' association is coming together as one to promote the festival," adding, "We will continue to do our best to convey the true value of Geumsan ginseng to everyone who visits Geumsan."
Lim Munjae commented, "I hope many people will enjoy the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival," and encouraged, "Please visit Geumsan and experience the health benefits of our ginseng."
Park Beomin, Governor of Geumsan County, remarked, "Geumsan ginseng is not only the representative brand of our region but also a globally recognized health resource beyond Korea," and continued, "I hope all residents will unite so that this festival can both revitalize the local economy and enhance the status of Geumsan ginseng."
