Jindo County in South Jeolla Province successfully held the "2025 Jeonnam Youth 4-H Members Unity Camping Education" over three days from the 26th to the 28th at the public stadium area.

The event was attended by Kim Yungrok, Governor of South Jeolla Province, Kim Heesu, Mayor of Jindo County, Heo Seungwon, President of the South Jeolla Province 4-H Association, as well as about 500 young members from 21 cities and counties in the province, who strengthened exchanges and unity among young farmers.

Under the theme "The Era of AI Scientific Farming! Youth 4-H Leads the Way!", the camping education featured inter-city and inter-county exchange activities, where participants shared the agricultural conditions of their respective regions and examples of youth entrepreneurship, seeking ways to collaborate. The unity concert, team-building sports activities, and bonfire ceremony that followed the opening ceremony served as opportunities to foster a sense of community and cooperation.

At the event venue, an exhibition hall showcased processed products made using local agricultural products from each city and county, allowing young participants to share creative ideas for increasing the added value of regional produce. Participants also explored various possibilities for the future of South Jeolla agriculture.

Mayor Kim Heesu emphasized, "Youth 4-H members are valuable leaders who will open the future of rural communities," adding, "In particular, young farmers are the core workforce leading the era of artificial intelligence and scientific farming."

This camping education was significant as it served not only as a venue for exchange but also as a stepping stone for young farmers to grow into future leaders of rural communities. The South Jeolla Youth 4-H Association plans to use this event as an opportunity to strengthen interregional exchange and cooperation, contributing to the sustainable development of agriculture and rural areas in South Jeolla Province.
