Various Promotional Events to Boost Consumption through Distribution Platforms
Special Events Linked to APEC SME Ministerial Meeting
The Korea Small and Medium Venture Business Distribution Agency will participate as the main organizer of the "September Companion Festival," which will be held from September 1 to 30, presenting a variety of promotional events.
This event is linked to the APEC SME Ministerial Meeting to boost local revitalization, and a special event will be held in the Jeju region (Jeju ICC). The agency will oversee key programs, including the opening ceremony, Receipt Concert, Special Sales Exhibition, and Policy Promotion Hall.
In addition to its own distribution platforms (Happy Department Store, Dongban Growth Mall, Sodam Square, and Panpan Duty Free at Incheon Airport), the agency plans to actively expand sales channels and stimulate consumption for small and micro business products by collaborating with major domestic private distributors.
Special exhibitions for small business owners will be held in partnership with 12 online platforms such as Naver, Lotte ON, and Gmarket, along with a Chuseok special exhibition at Dongban Growth Mall and a brand special price event at Happy Department Store. The "Outstanding Small and Medium Enterprise Sales Exhibition" will also take place at Lotte Department Store’s Jamsil and Busan branches.
At Panpan Duty Free, a dedicated sales venue for SME products inside Incheon International Airport, and at Panpan Shop in Hyundai Department Store Pangyo branch, special exhibitions and promotional events for SME products will be held. Live commerce support events will also take place at Sodam Sanghoe and Sodam Square nationwide.
Lee Taesik, CEO of the agency, stated, "As the organizer of the September Companion Festival, we will mobilize all our online and offline infrastructure to ensure the success of the festival."
