Satoshi Holdings (formerly DeepMind Platform) and Barun Law LLC announced on August 29 that they will officially launch the "Together for Safety Project" to prevent industrial accidents at construction sites.
This project will be operated as a "Monthly Safety Package," which includes 3D site data captured by drones and customized guidelines provided by Barun Law LLC's task force specializing in industrial accident cases. Construction sites will receive a new safety report every month, conduct preemptive legal risk assessments, and receive immediate legal support in the event of an accident.
The key feature is the integration of technology and legal expertise to target "before accidents occur." DeepMind Platform deploys drones to thoroughly reveal blind spots at construction sites. The 3D data collected by drones is used to proactively eliminate these hazardous blind spots.
According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, as of 2023, there have been 125 fatalities from falls during roof and repair work over the past three years.
Barun Law LLC plays a crucial role in effectively responding to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act. The legal checklist, combined with the drone report, systematizes the management representative’s responsibilities to a "verifiable level."
If an accident occurs, the task force team is immediately deployed to assist with evidence preservation, cause analysis, and labor-management negotiations throughout the entire process. The focus is on minimizing legal disputes and construction delays that can last for months or even years after an accident, rather than solely addressing the accident itself.
The significance of this collaboration is substantial. In February, a highway bridge collapse in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, resulted in four deaths, and the fact that a minor lapse in process management led to an irreversible disaster shocked society.
The "Together for Safety Project" was designed to prevent such structural accidents. Its hallmark is a three-stage safety system that establishes a dual defense mechanism: identifying risks through technology and blocking them through legal measures.
DeepMind Platform (now Satoshi Holdings) stated, "Drones are no longer just tools for filming-they will become the eyes that protect workers' lives."
Barun Law LLC emphasized, "Our role is to prevent accidents and, if they do occur, to swiftly resolve legal risks."
Construction sites in South Korea are high-risk environments where hundreds of lives are lost each year. The "Together for Safety Project" aims to change the safety paradigm at construction sites by introducing the world’s first subscription-based safety platform that combines drone technology with legal services to proactively eliminate these risks.
A company representative stated, "Through this project, construction sites will no longer be places of death, but spaces of survival protected by technology and regulation."
