KT Hosts Special Screening of "Independence Army: The Unfinished War" for Veterans in Daegu

This event was organized by KT to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation, inviting over 100 people including national merit recipients and their bereaved families from the Daegu area to watch the documentary film "Independence Army: The Unfinished War."
The film highlights the activities of the independence army centered around General Hong Beomdo and sheds light on the roots of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces.
A KT representative stated, "We continue to carry out various honor activities to pay tribute to the noble sacrifices of national merit recipients and to promote a culture of respecting national heroes," adding, "Although it was a short time, we hope it was a meaningful experience."
Kim Jongsul, Director of the Daegu Regional Veterans Office, emphasized, "I deeply thank KT for organizing this meaningful event to mark the 80th anniversary of Liberation," and added, "We will continue to strengthen the honor and respect for national merit recipients and promote a culture of remembrance through various social contribution activities."
