The Sejong City Sports Association for the Disabled announced on August 28 that it had received a donation of 10 million won from Hana Bank on August 27 to support the development of sports for people with disabilities.
The donation ceremony was attended by Minho Choi, Mayor of Sejong (President of the Sports Association for the Disabled), Yeol Lee, Vice President of Hana Bank Chungcheong Business Group, and Sejin Oh, Regional Head of Hana Bank Daejeon Sejong Headquarters. The donated funds will be used for the development of sports for people with disabilities in Sejong City, including support for sports activities for the disabled, scholarships for disabled students and athletes, support for outstanding athletes, support for sports projects of organizations for the disabled, and support for daily sports programs.
Yeol Lee, Vice President of Hana Bank Chungcheong Business Group, said, "I am pleased that this development fund for athletes with disabilities has created a meaningful opportunity for mutual growth with the local community. We will continue to take the lead in creating more miracles in our society through diverse and ongoing sharing activities."
Minho Choi, President of the Sports Association for the Disabled, said, "Thank you for supporting the development fund for sports for people with disabilities. We will make sure that these valuable resources are used to provide equal support to all athletes with disabilities in the region."
