On August 28, Samhwa Paint Industrial announced that it had signed a business agreement with Geumgang Industrial, a comprehensive building materials manufacturer, to collaborate in the field of fire-resistant solutions for modular construction.

Through this agreement, the two companies have decided to jointly develop fire-resistant paint technologies in the modular construction sector to strengthen safety and competitiveness. Specifically, they will cooperate in the development of fire-resistant paint technology, testing the performance of fire-resistant coatings and obtaining certifications for fire-resistant structures, as well as manufacturing modular structural components and sharing technical data.
Fire-resistant paint is a high-performance coating that prevents fire from spreading to steel structures, thereby delaying the collapse of buildings for a certain period. In the event of a fire, it helps secure evacuation and firefighting time, reducing casualties and property damage.
Through this agreement, Samhwa Paint Industrial aims to secure technological competitiveness in fire-resistant coatings for modular construction and establish a leading position in the market.
