Lotte Mart has increased its selection of cost-effective products priced under 50,000 won and launched pre-orders for Chuseok gift sets. On August 28, the company announced that, to ease the burden of holiday expenses amid high inflation, more than 40% of its pre-order gift sets are composed of products priced below 50,000 won.

First, the company is offering essential holiday fruit sets, which are in high demand, at affordable prices. The "Cleanly Washed GAP Apples (11-12 pieces)" and "Naju Cheongmirae Pears (7-9 pieces)" are available to L.Point members with a 10,000 won discount, each priced at 39,900 won. The "Jeongseongdamun Singo Pears (9-11 pieces)" come with a 20,000 won discount, offered at 49,900 won. The "Sangju Dried Persimmon Box (30 pieces)" is being sold for 29,990 won.
Lotte Mart has also prepared imported fruits, which have become increasingly popular as family snacks. The main items, "Australian Oranges (12 pieces)" and "South African Star Ruby Grapefruit (12 pieces)," are available to L.Point members with a 10,000 won discount, each priced at 29,900 won. The "Zespri Green Kiwis (25 pieces)" are offered at 24,900 won.
Premium healthy raw ingredient sets also feature practical options. The "Ginseng Set with Many Roots (300g)" is available to L.Point members with a 10,000 won discount at 39,900 won. The "Natural Scent Mushroom Mixed Set No. 2" can be purchased at the L.Point member price of 39,900 won.
For nuts, more than half of the sets are cost-effective options under 50,000 won. Despite the market price of walnuts, a key raw ingredient, rising by more than 60% compared to the previous holiday, the popular "Daily Nuts One Pack a Day (80 packs)" is being sold at the same price as last Lunar New Year, 29,900 won.
In the seafood category, the supply of seaweed gift sets priced under 20,000 won has increased by more than 20% compared to the previous Lunar New Year. The "Dongwon Yangban Perilla Oil Seaweed Set" and "CJ Bibigo Native Seaweed Set No. 5" are each priced at 9,900 won. Customers who purchase 10 sets will receive one additional set for free. The "Daecheon Gopchang Lunchbox Seaweed Gift Set (5g*36 packs)" is available to L.Point members for 19,900 won.
For processed foods and daily necessities gift sets, credit card benefits are provided. The "Dongwon Special Set No. 2" and "CJ Special Choice K-4 Set" are offered at a 30% discount, priced at 19,950 won and 23,030 won, respectively. The "Jung Kwan Jang Red Ginseng Wonki (50ml*30 packs)" is available at a discounted price of 30,800 won. The "Amorepacific Seomkim Set No. 3" is being sold at 29,900 won, reflecting a 50% card benefit.
In the meat category, four pre-order exclusive products are being offered for under 100,000 won. The "Jeju Black Pork Assorted Grill Set" and "Antibiotic-Free Korean Beef Meat Set No. 3 (Grade 1+)" are available to L.Point members with a 50,000 won discount, each priced at 99,000 won. The "Jeju Pork Assorted Marinated Set (2.7kg)" is offered at 89,000 won, and the "New Zealand LA-Style Beef Short Ribs Set" is available for 99,000 won.
