Taking this opportunity, Andong City in North Gyeongsang Province is accelerating regional revitalization by fully launching the 'K-Gourmet Four Major Harmony Strategies,' which combine local food stories and regional resources.

Specialized Spaces Showcasing Traditional Resources: The city is expediting the creation of specialized spaces for permanent exhibitions of traditional liquors such as Andong Soju and clan cuisine, as well as other regional killer content. Foods named after the region, such as salted mackerel, jjimdak, and Heotjesabap, will be featured in curated exhibitions. Archive spaces dedicated to traditional cookbooks like Suunjapbang and Eumsikdimibang, and the local food culture, will serve as academic and experiential hubs.

By linking these spaces with tourist attractions like Woryeonggyo Bridge, the city plans to develop a complex venue where visitors can enjoy tasting events and hands-on experiences, merging tourism and gourmet culture. Food as a Performance: The Andong City Performing Arts Troupe will present its inaugural work, the immersive dining performance "The Recipe - Welcoming Guests with the Flavors and Excitement of Andong."

This interactive stage allows audiences to enjoy food alongside the performance and has been selected for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's "2025 Regional Representative Arts Group Support Project." Through this, Andong is building a 'K-content model that consumes food as a performance,' opening a new horizon for gourmet culture.

Gourmet Experiences Embedded in Festivals: The Andong International Mask Dance Festival and the Chajeon General and Noguk Princess Festival will feature large-scale food zones showcasing local cuisine. Building on last year's success, when the food zones contributed to increased festival attendance, Andong will expand these areas and add new content such as clan cuisine recreations and traditional cooking experiences, simultaneously pursuing the popularization and preservation of local food culture.

Integration with Tourism: Andong City, in collaboration with the Korean Food Promotion Institute and KORAIL Tourism Development, will operate the "K-Gourmet Traditional Liquor Belt Pop-Up Train - Andong The Dining." By combining transportation and gourmet experiences, this offering is expected to evolve beyond simple travel into a "stay-type tourism" model. The city also plans to expand into heritage tourism packages that include traditional house accommodations and traditional games, aiming to invigorate the local economy.

"Andong's Cuisine Connects with the World": Kwon Ki-chang, Mayor of Andong, stated, "Each local dish bearing Andong's name is special, carrying its own history and story. Through strategies to spread K-Gourmet based on traditional culture, we will make Andong a gourmet city that attracts global attention."
