In his congratulatory remarks, Kim Hakyoung pointed out, "Recently, Mayor Lee Donghwan proposed the G-Nomics five-year plan and Festa-Nomics, but even the basic concepts have yet to be established." He added, "I hope today's forum will serve as a catalyst for developing strategies that connect performances and cultural festivals to revitalizing the local economy."

He continued, "Recently, Seoul has begun a major remodeling project to transform the area around Jamsil Main Stadium into a sports and MICE complex, which has opened a window of opportunity for our city." However, he also noted, "It is now time to carefully consider whether we should continue to view the main stadium solely as a performance venue and proceed with related projects."
