National Assembly to Hold First Legislative Expo on September 23-24... Seeking Solutions to Climate Crisis and More

The National Assembly announced on August 27 that it will hold the '2025 National Assembly Legislative Expo' from September 23 to 24. This will be the first time the National Assembly is hosting an expo dedicated to the legislative field.

The expo, held under the slogan "A Path Opened by Public Participation, a Future Opened by Legislation," will focus on overcoming the climate crisis, responding to regional extinction, and revitalizing the people's economy.

At the Central Lawn Plaza of the National Assembly, booths will be set up by the National Assembly, government, and local governments to showcase exemplary cases of legislation and policy. In the National Assembly Members' Office Building, policy debates and lectures open to everyone will be held.

National Assembly Speaker Woo Wonshik stated, "Listening directly to the voices of the people on site is the starting point for solving pressing issues such as the climate crisis, regional extinction, and livelihood concerns." He added, "I hope that this first-ever legislative expo will serve as an opportunity to properly reflect the voices of the people in the legislative process."
