Yeoju Urban Corporation to Operate 2025 Hole-in-One Park Golf Sharing School

At the Yeoju Park Golf Course, operated by Yeoju Urban Corporation (President Lim Myungjin), the "Yeoju Park Golf Hole-in-One Sharing School" will be held every Saturday from September 6 to November 1, targeting elementary, middle, and high school students in the region.

This program was designed to utilize local infrastructure, including the Ohak Park Golf Course and Jeomdong Park Golf Course, to provide students with opportunities for diverse physical activities and leisure experiences, with the goal of realizing a community-based village education system outside of school.

The sharing school, which will involve a total of 34 students, will be divided into two sessions: the first session with 15 students and the second session with 19 students. Each session will consist of 12 classes and will focus on practical park golf education, including theoretical instruction, technical practice (tee shots, putting, and approach), and an 18-hole round experience.

The program will be led by instructors certified in park golf, enhancing its professionalism. Former Yeoju High School teacher Kang Wonjong and Kwon Kiyeon, a teacher at Gangcheon Middle School, will serve as instructors.

Yeoju Urban Corporation and the Yeoju Office of Education expect the program to help students improve their physical health and concentration, enhance their ability to engage in self-directed leisure activities, and create a sustainable experiential education model utilizing local resources.

In addition, participating students will undergo a pre-registration process using a facial recognition system to ensure safe and systematic operation.

President Lim Myungjin stated, "We will continue to work with the Yeoju Office of Education to expand meaningful experiential education for the growth and lives of our students."
