Experiencing the Cutting-Edge of the Aerospace Industry Firsthand
On August 27, it was announced that a delegation from the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, which has established a friendship agreement with Gyeongsangnam-do, visited Sacheon City in Gyeongsangnam-do and had a meaningful time.
The delegation, which included Governor Jan Grolich, First Deputy Governor Jiri Ctrhal, Deputy Governor Marek Sovka, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and business representatives, visited Sacheon City as part of their official itinerary in Gyeongsangnam-do. They toured aerospace industry sites and major tourist attractions in the city.
The delegation visited Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), located in Sacheon City, where they experienced firsthand the cutting-edge sites of Korea's aerospace industry and witnessed the nation's world-class technological capabilities and dynamic industrial development.
Mayor Park Dongsik shared lunch with the delegation, expressing his hope that the South Moravian Region would expand cooperation and exchange with both Gyeongsangnam-do and Sacheon City across various fields in the future, and extended a warm welcome.
The delegation concluded their visit by riding the Sacheon Marine Cable Car, one of the city's top tourist attractions, where they enjoyed the breathtaking scenery of the sea and mountains, experiencing the beauty and tourism potential of Sacheon City firsthand.
