Kevin Huang, the husband of Choi Minjung, the second daughter of Chey Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group, has established a venture capital firm in the United States.

According to business circles on August 27, Huang announced on his social networking service (SNS) account that he had founded Refracted Capital.
Huang mentioned his experience in the U.S. Marine Corps, logistics, and software companies, stating, "Working in environments where failure is not an option made me realize that there are industries where everything must be executed with 100% accuracy every time." He added, "Artificial intelligence (AI) cannot solve these management challenges." He further explained, "I established a search fund to acquire and operate companies that perform critical missions, such as those in logistics, software, administrative technology, and services."
The company website also provides details about Huang's background and information about his wife, Minjung Choi. It highlights his experience as a U.S. Marine Corps officer leading global operations, his education at Harvard University and Stanford University where he earned an MBA, as well as his management experience founding a software startup and driving growth in companies in the administrative technology and service sectors.
Regarding his wife, the site states that they met while working at the Pentagon and married in October last year. It also notes that she is a former officer in the Republic of Korea Navy and is currently the founder of the mental health tech startup Integral Health.
