Siheung City Selects Seven Outstanding Cases of Proactive Administration

'Integration of Youth Transportation Subsidy Programs' Wins Top Individual Honor
'Elimination of Security Blind Spots in Public Cloud Services' Selected as Best Team Case

Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province announced on August 26 that it has selected seven cases that produced results through creative and proactive work initiatives and contributed to enhancing citizen convenience as the 'Outstanding Cases of Proactive Administration for the Second Half of the Year.'

The review, which targeted employees at grade 6 and below, received a total of 25 recommendations, including 11 individual cases and 14 team cases. After a working-level meeting review, the city submitted seven final cases to the Proactive Administration Committee, which then selected the outstanding cases.

For the individual category, the top honor went to the 'Integration of Gyeonggi Province and Siheung City Youth Transportation Subsidy Programs.' In the team category, the 'Elimination of Security Blind Spots in Public Cloud Services' was selected as the best case.

Other selected cases in the individual category included: ▲Establishment of a Drone and AI-Converged Outdoor Advertising Safety Inspection System (Excellence) ▲Promotion of Modernization of Recycling Sorting Facilities (Excellence) ▲Dual Power Supply for the Urban Information Integration Center Communication Room (Encouragement).

In the team category, the following were chosen: ▲Development of Factory Relocation Measures in the Hajung District (Excellence) ▲Designation of Special-Purpose High Schools and Gyeonggi-Type Science High Schools (Encouragement).

The city plans to provide incentives to the selected outstanding public officials, including a mayoral commendation, opportunities for overseas training, additional work performance points, and the highest grade of performance bonuses.
