Gokseong County, led by Governor Cho Sangrae, announced on August 26 that it is promoting a campaign and events to encourage early use of the Minseong Recovery Consumption Coupon, which began distribution on July 21, allowing residents to use the coupons early until the 31st.

The campaign, which officially began on the 18th, has been encouraging early use of the consumption coupons by providing information about the usage deadline during in-person meetings, such as meetings of village heads in each town and township, and has been recommending the use of the coupons to support local small businesses.

Additionally, the county is running a campaign targeting Gokseong County officials and employees of related organizations, encouraging them to actively use local small businesses by using the consumption coupons to dine at external restaurants for lunch.

In particular, to promote the use of mobile (chak) gift certificates, those who spend a combined total of at least 200,000 won on mobile consumption coupon gift certificates by the 31st will be entered into a random drawing in September, where 100 people will be awarded a 10,000 won mobile gift certificate.

The consumption coupons can be used until November 30, and any unused balance after this period will be automatically forfeited. Accordingly, the county plans to actively promote the coupons so that residents can use them quickly.

Governor Cho Sangrae stated, "We strongly encourage early use of the Minseong Recovery Consumption Coupon to maximize sales for local small business owners and self-employed individuals."
