PTC is a global software company with over 30,000 customers worldwide. It supports manufacturing and product companies in digitally transforming the entire process of designing, producing, and servicing physical products. The company is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and employs more than 7,000 people globally.

This agreement was reached as part of AmCham’s ongoing “Buy America” campaign. It is expected to serve as an important opportunity to substantially strengthen trade and technological cooperation between Korea and the United States in the field of advanced manufacturing.

The signing ceremony, held at Conrad Seoul Hotel, was attended by James Heller, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Korea, who added strategic significance to the partnership. The MOU focuses on expanding the application of PTC’s artificial intelligence (AI)-based manufacturing solutions to domestic sites, accelerating digital transformation and industrial innovation, and broadening the scope of technological and economic cooperation between Korea and the United States.

Under this agreement, AmCham and PTC plan to strengthen practical cooperation in various areas, including efforts to improve the domestic regulatory environment, enhance productivity and supply chain efficiency in local manufacturing, and promote the use of American technology through related seminars and meetings. Both organizations especially expect that PTC’s AI-based solutions will expand market accessibility in line with the government’s smart factory policy and contribute to improving productivity across the Korean manufacturing sector.

James Kim, Chairman and CEO of AmCham, stated, “PTC is a global leader in industrial digital transformation, and we are very pleased to welcome them as a core partner in AmCham’s ‘Buy America’ campaign through this agreement.”

He added, “AmCham is taking the lead in serving as a bridge between Korea and the United States, fostering an environment for innovation, investment, and sustainable growth. This agreement lays the groundwork for cooperation so that advanced American technology can create tangible value throughout Korea’s industrial ecosystem, and we will continue to further strengthen the strategic partnership between our two countries.”

Robert Dada, Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of PTC, said, “This collaboration with AmCham is an important step that reaffirms PTC’s commitment to leading smart manufacturing innovation and expanding the reach of American industrial technology in Korea. Through PTC’s AI-based solutions and strategic cooperation with AmCham, we aim to help Korean manufacturers elevate their productivity, operational efficiency, flexibility in responding to rapidly changing market conditions, and global competitiveness to a new level.”
