Daytime Highs to Reach 29 to 34 Degrees Celsius
Scattered Rainfall and Cloudy Skies Expected Across the Country

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the expected rainfall amounts are as follows: 20 to 60 millimeters for the Chungcheong and Jeolla regions; 10 to 60 millimeters for the Seoul metropolitan area and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon; 5 to 60 millimeters for Daegu and inland North Gyeongsang; 5 to 30 millimeters for Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, the east coast of North Gyeongsang, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo; 5 to 10 millimeters for the five West Sea islands; and 5 millimeters for the east coast of Gangwon. Jeju Island is expected to receive 5 to 40 millimeters of rain through the following day. Some areas, including eastern Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, southern Daejeon, Sejong, southern South Chungcheong, North Chungcheong, and western North Jeolla, may see rainfall exceeding 80 millimeters.
As of 5 a.m., current temperatures are as follows: Seoul 25.7 degrees Celsius, Incheon 25.6 degrees, Suwon 25.1 degrees, Chuncheon 24.5 degrees, Gangneung 28.6 degrees, Cheongju 25.8 degrees, Daejeon 25.8 degrees, Jeonju 28.4 degrees, Gwangju 27.6 degrees, Jeju 29.1 degrees, Daegu 26.6 degrees, Busan 27.2 degrees, Ulsan 27.0 degrees, and Changwon 26.3 degrees. The daytime high temperatures are expected to range from 29 to 34 degrees Celsius, which is higher than average for this time of year.
Fine dust levels are expected to remain at a 'good' level nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of rainfall.
Waves on the seas will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in all nearshore waters, including the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea. In offshore areas (up to about 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
