Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) announced on the 25th that it held a meeting with the Namyangju Small and Medium Business Association (President Cho Changhee) on the 22nd, providing an opportunity for communication with local businesspeople.

This meeting brought together members of the Small and Medium Business Association, which is centered around small businesses and small business owners, to foster unity and discuss ways to understand and cooperate with city administration.
More than 50 people attended the event, including Mayor Joo Gwangdeok, President Cho Changhee, and association members. The meeting focused on providing information about business support policies and listening to on-site suggestions, enabling practical communication.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "I will do my best to help the city leap forward as a future-oriented self-sufficient city together with businesspeople who are driving the development of the local economy despite difficult circumstances." He added, "We will strive to create a win-win effect in the region by attracting anchor companies, so that local small and medium-sized enterprises can actively participate in various projects."
Namyangju City is working to promote joint growth of the local economy by expanding the participation of local companies in public development new town projects such as the Wangsuk District and Yangjeong Station Area, and by actively utilizing local materials and manpower.
To this end, the city is making continuous efforts, such as monitoring the participation records of local companies and analyzing the results.
