Health-Themed Events and Local Cuisine to Attract Visitors
Uiryeong County in South Gyeongsang Province has unveiled the official poster for the 4th Rich Rich Festival.
This year’s poster was designed with a cute and engaging style to capture the attention of Millennials & Gen Z, who are driving Korean culture.
The poster features the “Emoticon Five”-characters named “Rich,” “Lucky,” “Happy,” “Wish,” and “Funny”-each expressing a variety of facial expressions to convey the festival’s spirit in a fun and accessible way.
Uiryeong County explained that “Rich,” “Lucky,” “Happy,” “Wish,” and “Funny” are all positive words that anyone aspires to and expects, and that these words reflect the very goals of the Rich Rich Festival.
Meanwhile, Uiryeong County has set the 2025 Rich Rich Festival slogan as “Habits of the Wealthy.” Following last year’s “Rules of the Wealthy,” this year will introduce “7 Practical Habits” as actionable messages for taking another step toward prosperity.
Especially this year, a variety of events will be held under the theme of “health,” which is considered the top habit among the wealthy.
The “Rich Night Run,” where participants can experience a panorama of lights while running a 2.5km night course connecting Uiryeong’s landmarks such as Chungiksa Shrine and the Uibyeong Museum, as well as the “Rich Chef Zone,” where three renowned chefs will prepare healthy dishes using local specialties for visitors, are already attracting significant attention.
The 4th Rich Rich Festival will open on October 9 and run until October 12 at Uiryeong County Citizens’ Park and the Sotbawi area.
