The cadastral resurvey project is a national initiative aimed at resolving discrepancies between the actual use of land and the records in cadastral registers. Through precise surveying and land investigation, the project updates the registration details in the cadastral records.

After the project was completed, an analysis comparing the state of the land before and after using the Barun Land System showed significant improvements in land utilization. A total of 32 landlocked parcels (plots not connected to roads) were resolved, 645 parcels were regularized, and issues involving 362 parcels with building encroachments were addressed.

The city conducted a survey on empathy and satisfaction among 461 landowners whose properties were included in the 2024 cadastral resurvey project. Of the 112 respondents, 93.8% (105 people) said the cadastral resurvey project was necessary, and 89.3% (100 people) expressed satisfaction with the results.

Kim Nana, head of the Land Information Division, stated, "The greatest achievement of this project was resolving the inconvenience experienced by citizens whose buildings encroached on others' land or who suffered from landlocked parcels," adding, "We will actively promote the project so that more citizens can experience its benefits in the future."
