Kyungbok University held the 2025 Summer Graduation Ceremony on the 22nd at the Udang Art Hall on its Namyangju campus. The ceremony was attended by 83 graduates, as well as key university officials, department heads, faculty members, and other university representatives.
The event proceeded in the following order: the opening ceremony, the national pledge, a reading of the founding philosophy and declaration of the Kyungbok spirit, the Tessel Ceremony, the presentation of awards, a reading of the graduation address, a congratulatory speech, and the singing of the Kyungbok anthem.
The Tessel Ceremony is a ritual that publicly announces the conferral of bachelor's degrees to the graduates. In this symbolic act, graduates move the tassel on their mortarboard from the right side to the left.
