In anticipation of the upcoming Geumsan World Ginseng Festival, which will be held from September 19 to September 28, a meeting was held on August 21 at the Geumsan County Office's Resident Welfare Support Division to discuss the organization of the 'Madangbawi Prayer Ceremony.' This event will reenact the Jinaksan Mountain Spirit Prayer Ceremony conducted by Kang Chosa, who first cultivated ginseng in Geumsan.

On this day, Kim Kyungmo, head of the Resident Welfare Support Division, and 11 members of the Madangbawi Prayer Ceremony Committee attended the meeting to discuss ways to cooperate for the successful hosting of the ceremony.

In particular, participants reviewed detailed matters such as the ceremony schedule, safety management, and providing convenience for participants. They also exchanged opinions on ways to elevate the event and ensure it holds significance as an occasion for both residents and tourists to participate together.

The Madangbawi Prayer Ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 15 at Madangbawi in Jinaksan, Nam-myeon.

Kim Kyungmo stated, "The Geumsan World Ginseng Festival is a precious cultural heritage imbued with the traditions and spirit of our region," and added, "We will do our utmost to ensure that the Madangbawi Prayer Ceremony becomes a meaningful event that prays for the well-being of our residents and the success of the festival."
