This project is part of the "Gijang Hope Fence Project," which is supported by the Sungwoo Hope Foundation, a social welfare corporation, and the Busan Community Chest of Korea. It was organized as a region-specific initiative by the council.

The event was held over two days, from August 12 to 13, in cooperation with six elementary schools in Jeonggwan-eup that focus on educational welfare (Gadong Elementary, Dalsan Elementary, Mojun Elementary, Banggok Elementary, Sinjeong Elementary, and Jeongwon Elementary).

A total of 24 children participated and enjoyed a variety of cultural experiences and play activities, including movie viewing, bowling, a media art exhibition, and a fish cake making experience. The participating children spent a joyful and meaningful time through experiences that are not easily accessible in their daily lives.

One child who participated in the program shared, "I was so happy to have various experiences that I usually couldn't try."

Chairperson Choi Jin-ho said, "I am delighted to be able to give the children precious memories," and added, "We will continue to actively support local children so that they can grow up healthy and happy."

Song Youngjong, Chief of Jeonggwan-eup, remarked, "The children's bright smiles were impressive," and stated, "Since play is essential for children's development, we will continue to operate various programs in cooperation with the local community."
