Previously, Samsung Electronics had also promoted the "RT (Reinvent the Toilet) Project," an innovative sanitation initiative launched by the Gates Foundation in 2011 to supply new-concept toilets to underdeveloped countries.
Meanwhile, Chairman Gates has been keeping a busy schedule, having exchanged views on healthcare and industry with President Lee Jaemyung the previous day. He has also been holding a series of meetings with business leaders, including discussions on cooperation in small modular reactors (SMR) and vaccines with SK Group Chairman Chey Taewon, and talks on the commercialization of sodium reactors with HD Hyundai Senior Vice Chairman Chung Kisun.
