Gwangju Nambu Police Station announced on August 22 that it had conducted a campaign to promote the importance of the five basic public order rules and the prevention of major violations to 200 participants of the "World Archery Championships Citizen Supporters."

On the morning of the same day, the Crime Prevention and Response Division of the Nambu Police Station provided education using promotional videos and a PowerPoint presentation to the "World Archery Championships Citizen Supporters" in the main conference room of Nam-gu District Office. Audiovisual materials, including videos, were used to help eradicate behaviors that can cause inconvenience in daily life by highlighting major violations of public order such as illegal littering, unauthorized posting of advertisements, disorderly conduct due to intoxication, eating and drinking without payment, and scalping.

Additionally, the police urged the supporters, who represent Gwangju citizens, to help promote a clean and orderly image of Gwangju to visitors from outside the city. They also agreed to continuously improve the crime prevention environment in areas with frequent violations through strengthened cooperation with local governments and related organizations.

Chief Kim Jongdeuk stated, "During the World Archery Championships, we will deploy police officers and work together with the citizen supporters to prevent violations of the five basic public order rules," adding, "We will thoroughly prepare to ensure the success of the event."
