RaonSecure's "TouchEn mTranskey" Achieves Grade 1 GS Certification with Post-Quantum Cryptography

RaonSecure is strengthening its leadership in the field of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) by obtaining GS certification for its solution that applies PQC.

IT security certification platform company RaonSecure (Co-CEOs Soonhyung Lee and Jeonga Lee) announced on August 22 that its mobile virtual keypad solution, "TouchEn mTranskey v5.0," which incorporates PQC, has received Grade 1 GS certification from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) of Korea.

GS certification is awarded to products that meet certain criteria by evaluating quality across nine categories, including functionality, reliability, and usability, according to national standards. Grade 1 is the highest level of quality certification, and with this achievement, "TouchEn mTranskey" has once again proven its technical stability and excellence.

In particular, this is the first time a virtual keypad solution applying PQC technology has received Grade 1 GS certification, further solidifying RaonSecure's position as a leading company in the PQC sector.

RaonSecure's "TouchEn mTranskey" effectively prevents the tampering and leakage of sensitive information in mobile environments. It maximizes user experience by supporting various types of keypads, including PIN, QWERTY, and pattern formats, across different environments. Currently, it is widely used as a means to prevent the leakage of personal passwords and information in financial transactions and mobile authentication.

"TouchEn mTranskey" incorporates RaonSecure's patented "PQC-based keypad encryption method and system," which has significantly enhanced defense against conventional attack techniques such as screen capture, memory hacking, and key input tracking.

Meanwhile, RaonSecure's PQC technology supports both the Korean post-quantum cryptography (KpqC) and the US NIST PQC standard algorithms. At the end of last year, PQC technology was commercialized in "Key# Wireless" and "Key# Biz," which provide electronic signature and segment encryption functions in both mobile and PC environments. The company plans to gradually integrate this technology across its entire lineup of security solutions and authentication services.

Additionally, RaonSecure has been selected as the lead company for the medical sector in the PQC pilot transition project, which is overseen by the Ministry of Science and ICT and focuses on the energy, medical, and administrative fields. The company is currently carrying out a project to apply PQC to Korea's first open medical data platform.

Jeonga Lee, CEO of RaonSecure, stated, "With this Grade 1 GS certification, the technical excellence and reliability of 'TouchEn mTranskey' applying PQC technology have been officially recognized," adding, "We will continue to enhance our security solutions using PQC technology to provide an even safer and more reliable authentication environment."
