During the meeting, participants analyzed corruption-prone sectors and assessed the outcomes of ongoing initiatives aimed at improvement, such as the operation of Integrity and Communication Day, the Integrity Concert, and an integrity content contest open to all employees.
Based on these discussions, Hanam City plans to further enhance its integrity policies. Next month, the city will implement a variety of programs to strengthen employees' integrity capabilities, including integrity education for public officials at grade 7 and below, and the operation of an Integrity Radio program. In September, the city will continue these efforts by holding the 3rd Integrity Council Meeting and will continuously supplement and reinforce its integrity initiatives.
At the end of the meeting, during the 'Integrity Slogan Campaign,' senior officials held up integrity practice slogans for a commemorative photo, reaffirming their commitment to fostering an ethical organizational culture. Through this campaign, Hanam City expressed its strong determination to spread integrity throughout all aspects of municipal administration and to build a public service trusted by its citizens.
Mayor Lee Hyunjae stated, "Integrity is the foundation of administration and the highest priority for maintaining citizens' trust," adding, "I hope that the tasks discussed today will be put into practice and contribute to improving our overall integrity." He further emphasized, "When senior officials take the lead in establishing a culture of integrity, the organization will change and the trust of citizens will grow even stronger."
