Visiting Six Companies Including Daejeon Design Promotion Agency
Local Company Tour Program for Daejeon Hope Talent Students
A local company visit program was held to help Daejeon Hope Talent students grow into outstanding local talent who will contribute to the development of the Daejeon region.
On August 21, the Daejeon Office of Education conducted a local company visit program for 51 students of the 2025 Daejeon Education Development Special Zone Hope Talent at the Daejeon Design Promotion Agency and six companies.
Since the launch ceremony on June 17, Daejeon Hope Talent has been conducting camps to develop future competencies and design career paths so that students can grow into local talent who will lead regional development. In addition, customized career counseling and job matching activities are being carried out at each school.
The Daejeon Hope Talent local company visit program held on this day was organized into six groups by NCS job category and took place at six companies and institutions: Daejeon Design Promotion Agency, Golfzon County Co., Ltd., Shelpa Space, CHC Lab Co., Ltd., Sungjin Techwin Co., Ltd., and Micro Infinity Co., Ltd.
The Daejeon Design Promotion Agency is leading the promotion of the local design industry through various projects to foster the regional design industry and cultivate professional talent. Golfzon County Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in golf course management, providing opportunities for talent with expertise in management, finance, accounting, and human resources.
Shelpa Space is a local company emerging as a global smart farm business through plant growth light technology and cultivation systems. CHC Lab Co., Ltd. is a specialized company headquartered in Daejeon that manufactures and distributes chemical and bio-related facilities and equipment, and is expanding globally.
Sungjin Techwin Co., Ltd. is a leading company in the defense industry parts sector, recognized as a global small but strong defense company with solid technological capabilities. Micro Infinity Co., Ltd. is a specialized company in satellite navigation for the K-defense and space sectors, equipped with world-class technology.
Each company and institution offered a well-organized program including facility tours, product introductions, lectures and practical training related to career paths and job functions, as well as opportunities to meet with alumni.
The students who participated in the program visited and experienced outstanding local companies firsthand, developing their job skills and adaptability to field training. The program also served as an opportunity to strengthen their mindset for employment at local companies and reinforce their commitment to settling in the Daejeon region.
