Dongseo Food has launched a new advertising campaign for 'Kanu Barista' to welcome the summer season, which pairs perfectly with a refreshing Americano. The campaign aims to remind domestic consumers, who have a particular love for Americanos, of the most suitable capsule for them, naturally delivering the key message that the 'Americano Specialist' who knows Americanos best is Kanu Barista.
In February 2023, Dongseo Food entered the capsule coffee market by launching 'Kanu Barista,' a premium capsule coffee brand that encapsulates over 50 years of coffee manufacturing expertise. Kanu Barista is distinguished by its use of 9.5g of coffee beans per capsule-1.7 times more than standard espresso capsules-providing a generous amount of cafe-quality Americano.
Kanu Barista offers a total of 13 exclusive capsules, including light, medium, and dark roasts. The lineup ranges from decaffeinated to single origin options, allowing consumers to choose and enjoy coffee tailored to their personal preferences.
The Kanu Barista machine features patented 'Triangle Tamping' technology, which ensures consistent and even extraction to reliably maintain the coffee's flavor and quality. Additionally, it extracts at a yield of 18-22%, known as the 'Golden Essence,' to create a perfectly balanced Americano. The 'Dual Nozzle Bypass' function, which dispenses espresso and water from separate nozzles, delivers a clean and crisp taste.
