Presenting Opinions on Guri City's Future Vision and Strategies
Direct Participation in the Urban Master Plan Process
Guri City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyunghyun) will be recruiting members for the Citizen Planning Group from August 21 to September 3. The group will participate in the establishment of the 2040 Guri Urban Master Plan and play a role in presenting plans or opinions on the city's future vision and strategies.

Applicants must be Guri residents aged 19 or older. Recruitment will cover four areas: economy and safety, housing and welfare, culture and transportation, and environment and education. A total of 50 members will be selected, taking into account the applicant's gender, age, region, and preferred area of participation.
The selected citizens will directly participate in the process of establishing the urban master plan, including setting the city's future vision and creating living area plans, through Citizen Planning Group activities that will take place from September to October.
Mayor Baek Kyunghyun of Guri City stated, "The Citizen Planning Group is being operated to listen to the diverse opinions of citizens from all walks of life in the establishment of the urban master plan. I ask for your active interest and participation for the development and future of our city."
Those wishing to join the Citizen Planning Group can fill out an application form in the 'Guri News - Notices/Announcements' section on the Guri City website and submit it in person to the Urban Planning Division, by mail ((11954) 439 Achasan-ro, Guri City Hall Main Building, 5th Floor, Urban Planning Division, Guri City, Gyeonggi Province), or by email.
