According to the foundation on August 21, "Wednesday Seohaerang Trail" is a regular program where participants complete a representative section of the Gochang Seohaerang Trail each week. Forty participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis for each session, and the program will run a total of six times from September 3 to October 15.

The participation fee is 20,000 won per person, and applications are accepted at any time through Naver Form. Each participant will receive a welcome kit consisting of a hat, arm sleeves, and a limited-edition badge. As a special event of the program, an analog camera experience called "Seohaerang Trail on Film" will be held.

All participants will be provided with a disposable film camera, and photos taken freely during the trek will be printed digitally and given as souvenirs. Outstanding works will be featured in an online album or a small-scale exhibition.

In particular, a Gochang Biosphere Storyteller will accompany each section to introduce the region’s ecology and culture, allowing participants to enjoy a unique experience that goes beyond simple walking by combining stories and hands-on activities.

Jo Changhwan, Executive Director of the Foundation, said, "The Seohaerang Trail is a path where the nature and culture of Gochang come together, and I expect that walking together every week will be a meaningful experience for participants. I hope this program will bring together local residents and tourists, and that the charm of the Gochang Seohaerang Trail will become widely known."

This program was planned as part of the "Korea Dulle-gil Rest Area and Local Tourism Resource Linkage Program," promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.

Until November, a variety of themed walking programs, including birdwatching, healing, and pet-friendly experiences, will be held sequentially along sections 41 to 43 of the Gochang Seohaerang Trail. For inquiries about participation, please contact the tourism team at the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation.
