This donation was used to support residents struggling with daily life due to the recent heavy rainfall. Seochang-dong prepared food packages containing daily necessities such as Samgyetang meal kits, ramen, dried seaweed, instant porridge, and salted seafood, and delivered them to 25 households of elderly people living alone and vulnerable groups.
The college student in their 20s who made the donation said, "As a resident of Seo-gu, a city known for kindness, I naturally developed a desire to give after witnessing the positive influence of those around me. I hope to continue contributing to society, even in small ways, through my talents and efforts."
Jeong Sohyun, head of Seochang-dong, stated, "The good deed of one young person spread to residents and public officials, creating a greater impact. We will continue to carefully look after neighbors in need and strive to expand the welfare community through cooperation between the public and private sectors."
