This project is part of the "Cultural City Anseong International Cultural Exchange Project," which includes collaboration and exchange with international artisans, glocal insight exchanges, and a glocal festival.

To this end, the city has invited cultural artisans from Kamakura and Yokohama in Japan and Macau in China to participate in a workshop with Anseong's own artisans from August 19 to 22, with the goal of creating collaborative works.

The workshop features Japanese sculptor Shishikura Yuki and lacquerware artisan Koizumi Goro from Kamakura, as well as ceramic artisan Huang Qishun from Macau, who are collaborating with Anseong artisans in various fields such as metalwork and hanji (traditional Korean paper). The completed collaborative works will be showcased at the "Anseong Master Artisans Glocal Festival" scheduled for November.

An official from Anseong City stated, "This project will serve as an opportunity for Anseong to emerge as a hub for global craft exchange and to widely promote the region's cultural potential."
