"Customer Appreciation Event Filled with Memories, Enjoyment, and Benefits"
A ten-day department store "party" is about to unfold.
Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch will celebrate its 34th anniversary by hosting a variety of experience programs and customer appreciation events for all generations from August 22 to 31.
Since opening as Sewon Department Store in 1991, the Dongnae Branch has established itself as a landmark of Dongnae-gu for 34 years. It has become more than just a shopping space, evolving into a place where local residents share their daily lives and culture. The branch has also continued a range of social contribution activities, including free meal services, support for organizations for people with disabilities, street cleaning, and exhibitions and performances by local artists. The annual kimchi-making sharing event and blood donation campaign have also become signature community events involving both residents and employees.
This anniversary event is themed "Memories, Enjoyment, and Benefits." Various areas of the store will be transformed into event spaces, allowing visitors to enjoy games and experiences alongside shopping. From August 22 to 24 and August 29 to 31, customers who make purchases on the day can participate in dalgona game, yutnori, and gongginori events in front of the North Gate on the first floor. Customers who succeed in the dalgona game will receive gifts, while those who complete missions in yutnori and gongginori will be given gelato vouchers.
On August 23 and 24, special programs for children are also planned. There will be four daily balloon art performances at the special event area on the sixth floor, and ice cream will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to young children at the information desk on the first floor.
There will also be a range of product events. These include line-up sales by brand, fixed price sales, and special discounts on Korean beef in the food section. On August 22, limited quantities of 1-plus grade Korean beef sirloin and striploin will be offered at about half the regular price, and 2-plus grade Korean beef short ribs will be sold at approximately 60% off.
Customer appreciation events have also been enhanced. During the event period, customers who spend over 150,000 won will receive commemorative gifts on a first-come, first-served basis, and on weekends, gift certificates worth 5% of the purchase amount will be provided depending on the amount spent. In addition, gift certificates worth up to 10% will be offered for select product categories.
Lee Sangwon, the manager of Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch, stated, "The 34 years of the Dongnae Branch represent the time we have spent together with the local community." He added, "This event is more than just a sale-it's a festival that everyone, regardless of age or generation, can enjoy together." He also emphasized, "We will continue to work with the local community and offer a variety of cultural and experiential content."
