All Seats Free for Trot Concert
at District Office Auditorium on August 30
Dongjak-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Ilha), will hold the "New Government Complex Opening Commemoration Trot Concert" at 1:00 p.m. on August 30 in the main auditorium on the 4th floor of the new district office building.
This event has been organized to celebrate the relocation to the new government complex for the first time in 45 years together with local residents and to provide an opportunity for all generations to enjoy cultural experiences. Jointly hosted by Dongjak-gu, the Dongjak Cultural Foundation, and the Korea Broadcasting Singers Union, the concert will be held in conjunction with the public recording of the trot music program "Gayo Ga Jota Season 4."
The concert will open with performances by five specially invited singers. Kang Jin, Bae Ilho, Kim Gukwan, Kim Heungguk, and Geonadeul-renowned artists representing different eras-will take the stage to perform their hit songs and energize the audience. Following this, around 35 cast members from "Gayo Ga Jota Season 4" will present a variety of performances until 5:00 p.m.
The concert is open to approximately 400 Dongjak-gu residents and others, and all seats are free of charge. Residents wishing to attend can apply via the district office’s integrated reservation system on its website or by phone (02-820-9404) starting at 9:00 a.m. on August 20. Up to four tickets can be reserved per person, and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. For residents unable to attend in person, a live YouTube broadcast will be provided in the small conference room on the 4th floor, which can accommodate about 100 people.
