Representative Lee, who serves on the Legislation and Judiciary Committee and is a former chief prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, appeared on the current affairs program "News Dive" on the YouTube channel "Hankyoreh TV" on the 18th, stating, "Next week, we will make sure to show the public the CCTV footage of the incident in question."

The following day, Kim Byungjoo, a Supreme Council member of the Democratic Party, appeared on CBS Radio’s "Kim Hyunjung’s News Show" and said, "On the 11th, I went to Seoul Detention Center and requested the release of the CCTV footage showing the failed attempt to execute the arrest warrant for Yoon Sukyeol, but the warden at the time cited the Personal Information Protection Act and refused, so I could not see it. If the Legislation and Judiciary Committee passes a resolution, we can obtain it, so I plan to request the CCTV footage at the next committee meeting."

Subsequently, on the 14th, the Ministry of Justice transferred Kim Hyunwoo, the warden of Seoul Detention Center, to Anyang Prison, and appointed Kim Dohyung, the warden of Suwon Detention Center, as the new warden of Seoul Detention Center.

Jeon Hyunhee, the Supreme Council member and head of the Democratic Party’s Special Committee on the Three Major Special Prosecutions, also stated on MBC Radio’s "Kim Jongbae’s Focus" on the 19th, "We have already requested the submission of the materials."

Supreme Council member Jeon commented on the recent change of the Seoul Detention Center’s warden, saying, "The detention center said that if the standing committee passes a resolution, they can review it, so it seems there is a positive outlook for progress." She added, "We also indirectly confirmed with the Ministry of Justice, and they stated that, in principle, they do not oppose the release."

Meanwhile, former President Yoon’s side also expressed a desire for the CCTV footage to be made public. Kim Gyeri, the attorney representing former President Yoon, demanded the release of the footage on his own YouTube channel "Kim Gyeri TV," claiming, "The special prosecutor’s team attempted an illegal arrest."

Attorney Kim stated, "The special prosecutor is engaging in a witch hunt by fragmenting the story and providing it to the media, making it difficult to understand the full facts. The defense team has filed information disclosure requests for the CCTV and bodycam footage of the illegal actions that occurred on the 1st and today." He further explained, "We are demanding the release because the public has the right to know the truth, which is necessary to stop the witch hunt."
