This training program is a government-supported initiative organized by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Student Aid Foundation, providing college students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds with opportunities to explore overseas career paths. In particular, Type 1 supports practical, work-oriented global vocational education for students from junior colleges and universities outside the Seoul metropolitan area.

The training group consisted of a total of 14 students, including 11 from Dong-Eui University of Science and 3 from Busan Women's University. Before departure, participants completed career planning and safety training, and on site, they enhanced their job skills through ESL language courses and corporate and institutional visits at Phoenix Academy.

They also took part in cultural exchange programs organized by Study Perth, as well as special lectures and campus tours at the University of Western Australia (UWA) College of Health and Medical Sciences, directly experiencing multicultural awareness and global health education systems.

Kim Jooan, a student from the Department of Nursing, said, "I learned how to communicate beyond language by interacting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds," and added, "It was a valuable experience that allowed me to view the world from a new perspective."

Kim Taekyung, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, stated, "It was a precious opportunity for students to experience the world and plan for their futures," and emphasized, "We will expand our global programs to further strengthen international competencies."
