Hashed, a global blockchain venture capital (VC) firm, announced the official sponsors and major speaker lineup for "Blockchain Leaders Summit Tokyo 2025 (BLS Tokyo 2025)," which it is co-hosting with Japan's leading VC B Dash Ventures, on August 19.

The summit, scheduled for August 27, will feature Hub71, a global tech incubator based in Abu Dhabi and operated by the UAE sovereign wealth fund Mubadala, as its title sponsor. "BLS Tokyo 2025" is expected to serve as a practical bridge connecting Japanese Web3 innovators with the rapidly growing UAE technology ecosystem.


In addition, major global Layer 1 projects such as Aptos, Avalanche, Solana, and Sui, as well as SMBC Nikko Securities (a leading Japanese securities company) and DeFimans, a Japan-based Web3 business consulting firm, will join as platinum sponsors.


Other sponsors include promising global Web3 projects such as Solayer, WaveX, World, Backpack Exchange, Blockdaemon, Humanity Protocol, INTMAX, IOST, LayerZero, Minara, Nethermind, Presto, Stacks, The Sandbox, and Uniswap, along with key Japanese Web3 companies like NOT A HOTEL DAO, YOUR RIGHTS, bitFlyer, and Japan Open Chain. Through the participation of these organizations, BLS Tokyo 2025 aims to further expand its role as a comprehensive platform that connects the Japanese and global Web3 ecosystems in a multidimensional way.


The major speaker lineup includes Masao Shimazaki, Deputy Director-General of the Strategy Development and Management Bureau at the Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA); Caroline D Pham, Acting Chair of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC); Genki Oda, Chairman of the Japan Virtual and Crypto assets Exchange Association (JVCEA); Peter Abou Hachem, Head of Growth and Strategy at Hub71; Ala Shaabana, Co-founder of Bittensor; Yat Siu, Co-founder and Chairman of Animoca Brands; Makoto Kimura, CEO of YOUR RIGHTS and former board member of MAPPA Studio; David Allan Katz, Vice President of Asia-Pacific Strategy and Policy at Circle; and Ken Kashiwagi, Lead of Japan Partnerships and Strategy at Mysten Labs.
