Dongjak District Launches "Our Neighborhood Commercial District Clinic" for Small Business Consulting

to Launch Big Data-Based Consulting Clinic for Small Businesses

Dongjak District in Seoul (Mayor Park Ilha) will launch the "Our Neighborhood Commercial District Clinic," a big data-based support program for local small business owners, starting September 1. Running from September through the end of the year, the clinic will provide customized consulting services in four areas-startup, business strategy, tax, and marketing-offered by four field-specific experts.

To introduce this service, the district signed a business agreement with the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation at the new district office building on August 18. On this day, Park Ilha, Mayor of Dongjak District, and Choi Hangdo, Chairman of Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, agreed to work together to revitalize the local commercial district and strengthen the capabilities of small business owners. The two institutions also committed to sharing their data and establishing a mutual cooperation system.

Prospective entrepreneurs can receive comprehensive support ranging from site analysis, market research, and business feasibility studies in the preparation stage, to management improvement for existing small business owners, including promotional and marketing strategies, sales growth solutions, and the discovery of new business items. Additionally, tax and labor consultations, as well as other business mentoring, will be provided.
